Sport Stockport Membership Benefits

At the Sport Stockport AGM on the 12thMay, it was agreed that membership to the group will be £10 per year. This will cover certain benefits which are only open to members of Sport Stockport, including:

 ·         Get Coaching Stockport – Clubs can claim back 50% of the cost of level 1 & 2 courses which their members have attended. Members will also be able to access places on CPD workshops free of charge.

 ·         Club Development Fund – Club who have or are working toward accreditation can apply for upto £400 to develop their club – Please note that anyone who received the fund last year must have completed the monitoring before applying again this year.

 ·         Talented Athlete Fund – To be launched in June / July the fund will be open on a rolling process and will be aimed at those competing at regional level or above who can demonstrate a clear financial need. The maximum grant will be £250 per application. 

Please note that the Talented Athlete Fund is completely funded via Sport Stockport. All membership income will be put towards this fund. 

All clubs will be receiving a copy of the membership form they completed last year. Any required changes or new memberships can be made online by clicking here
